M Matt 24.1-14: the Temple stones will be overturned; what sort of crisis is this – the collapse of a faith system or God liberating himself?

T Matt 24.15-28: fleeing home and abandoning possessions; pray for the displaced & refugee today, especially in the depth of winter (20).

W Matt 24.29-end: keep awake & be ready; what aspects of your life work against this for you? What changes do you need to make?

T Matt 25.1-13: the foolish lack what they need as they wait; how will you make sure your faith is properly resourced, day after day?

F Matt 25.14-30: a negative image of his master left one servant in fear (24-5); how does your image of God shape your faith & practice?

S Phil 3.1-14 (St Paul): what is the definition of a good Christian? Someone with worthy moral credentials (4-6) or something else (7-9?)
