Daily Prayers

Throughout the month our typical pattern of services is:

1st Sunday: Family Service (9.30am) & Holy Communion (11.00am)
2nd Sunday: Morning Worship & Baptism
3rd Sunday: Holy Communion
4th Sunday: BCP Communion (9.30am) & Morning Worship (11.00am)

[This pattern sometimes varies with the school holidays eg no family service in the summer holidays. Please check dates listed in the left column of the home page].

We are low church by tradition and our services are structured but informal.

We offer prayer ministry after our services each week

Children are welcome at all our Sunday services.  A creche always operates in the Lower Hall during services and we offer groups for children and young people on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays:

Bubbles for 4s-6s (reception to year 2)
X-stream for 7s-10s (year 3 to year 5)
The Grid for 11s-14s (year 6 to year 8)

When there is a 5th Sunday in the month, we also ensure there is an activity for all children and young people together.

We abide by the Southwark Diocese policy for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults – A Safe Church. Our Parish Safeguarding Officers are Sarita Rampat and Sandrine Simmons.

Daily prayers normally take place in the church every Monday to Thursday from 12.30 pm to 12.55 pm. All are welcome – enter through the Chancel Door, no. 3 – for this simple service of a short liturgy, bible reading and prayer.

On the first Wednesday evening of each month, we also hold a service of Taize Prayer & Communion at 8pm which gives us a quieter space to focus our ongoing prayers for the mission and ministry of our church.
